Wow, this place is wonderful. Only concerns are there is no wifi available, and it just doesn't seem quite right that the state would so directly compete with private campgrounds at this level. I mean, cable TV, 50 amp service etc. I believe in keeping government in the government business, they shouldn't be running private enterprises, but, hey it is the 21st century and we are entering a new world order, so stop in and enjoy one of the best private campgrounds owned by a government.

Have stayed here before, but had to cut a stay short this time. Our site was unlevel, unable to get satellite signal, there is no cable and over the air TV was very spotty. The site also was poorly arranged in that our passenger side faced the passenger side of the neighbor. Unfortunately, the neighbor had 4 or 5 very young, active, loud children who were up playing at the crack of dawn. Our dog is used to people at RV parks, just not in our front lawn so she joined in the ruckus. Park was understanding, if not happy about our early departure, so we were not charged any additional fees. This park is fine if you do not need TV service and don't mind taking the chance of facing your neighbor. There are way too many trees to gamble on getting satellite service at your site. Be warned.

Not bad at all. Dusty roads, but they were watering them most every day. Park is wide open and therefore is subjected to some pretty high winds. Very large sites. Nice facilities and a large pool. Has a nine hole golf course on the property and the green fees are ZERO, Zip, nada, free!! Many of the sites are occupied by long term residents, but while we were there the park was only about one third full and you could get a site far away from everyone. We would return in the future.

Great sites,24 security, nice people, shuttle to casino. Only concerns, wifi was very weak at our site and the roads are a little tight. Bay St. Louis is a long drive from the main casino strip of Gulfport/Biloxi. That being said, this is by far the best RV park in the area. Thumbs up.

Very hard park to rate. Would have given a 1 on the day I arrived. We paid in full for two sites for one month in June, 7+ months prior to our arrival. Were given site assignments by the reservation agent and were sent confirmations showing the site numbers. Needless to say, when we arrived the sites were taken and we were left to choose from the leftovers. The park told us the reservations were taken in New York by the parent company up north and they didn't need to honor what they said "Down Here" During our stay we met several others with the same experience. There is also many work campers who are angry at management and they are not shy about telling you about it. Now for the park. First, Orange Lake is about 6 inches from being Orange Swamp. On top of that, there is a nearby marina that for some reason is heavily used by Air boats at 2AM. I guess they are gator hunting. Our site was a long long way from the lake, but we were jolted awake several nights by these thunder engined boats. The golf course is good, but is an executive course so don't expect an 18 hole championship golf experience. The sites in the older section are fantastic. Long, wide and generally well kept. The new grass sites (200+ of them) are a different story. Stuff everywhere. Looks like they pull up, dump their bays and proceed to live the slob life. Too bad, the rest of the park is really very nice. The water apparently is from their own well source and at times will bleach your clothes without clorox, so beware before grabbing a mouthful. The staff at the park is really just going through the motions. I was waiting on a fax and after three days discovered their fax machine had broke and a new one was not coming in the near future. Got a hearty "Oh Well" when I asked why I couldn't have been told the previous ten times I checked on the fax. Overall, this is a good choice if you need to be somewhere near Gainesville or Ocala. Be aware it is midway between the two and generally in the middle of nowhere. Good 15 miles to a name brand grocery store. It is too cold here to really winter. Had several multiply stretches of freezing temps in the Month we were here. All in all we are going further south the next time. Live and learn

A very nice park for an overnight. It is close to the Interstate, so be aware of road noise if you have a soft sided rig. Sites are grass with a concrete patio. They were very firm while we were there, but I cannot judge what they may be like in wet weather. Yes, there are both pines and oaks in abundance. Roads are good and wifi was fine. I would stay again.

Very nice park located on Chokoloskee Island. Only concerns are very narrow roads with tight turns. And I do mean very tight turns. Saw a near fight (great profanity and accusations regarding fitness to drive, intelligence of the drivers rear end, ethnicity etc) between a new arrival and a guest concerning how close the new coach came to the resident's coach. Mostly longer term guests who are there for the fishing. Very nicely kept with no evidence of decaying rigs etc. Both WiFi and Cell reception very marginal at best. Don't rely on having either when you need it. WiFi is for a fee ($25.00 per month). Most everybody is friendly and likeable. Park activities are available for all guests, not just owners, and you will feel welcome. Registration is unorganized and you are on your own to find your site, which I find a little strange considering how much the sites cost. Stock up your fridge, it's a long way to a Grocery store or a Wal Mart (Naples) (The so called "Supermarket" in Everglades City is one of the worst I have ever seen.) Local seafood is excellent and plentiful. We will stay here again. Just be aware of those tight turns!

It was not bad for Missouri in the winter. Look for a site furthest away from I-70. Our site was quiet enough inside the Coach, but we could see where noise would be an issue closer to the road or in a soft sider. The WiFi was great. Don't pull too far forward to register, you may have to back up to make a turn. Roads were tight, tight turns and potholes full of water that I felt I had to probe with a stick to see how deep, be careful. I would stay again on an overnight.

Very nice park, trees are a bit overgrown, however. Getting satellite was tough, but we got it finally. Nice pool area. Beware the highway exit, if you miss it you are going a long way before you can turn around. Also, if you are driving during rush hour the Dallas area traffic is horrible. There is a lot of road noise at the front of the campground, but it is much quieter near the back. It is surrounded by apartments and residential areas, but they are nice and we felt very secure. we will stay again.

Lots of permanent residents. Many appear to be college students and dropouts. Our site was next to the road and traffic never stopped. Took the time to travel around the area and couldn't find an RV park we would stay at again. Next time we will keep on going past this entire area. If you must stay in Bryan/College Station good luck, you are going to need it.

Nice park as KOAs go. Even though it was close to the interstate, the road noise isn't bad. It is right next to the visitor center for Butte and is incredibly convenient. Sites are gravel and fairly level, our big rig fit nicely. There is a trail behind the campground that is great for dog walking. No Wifi is a big hole in an otherwise good campground. No cable TV but satellite is fine and there are local stations available over the air. I was tempted to give the park a perfect 10 based on the broasted chicken served by the campground store. It is incredibly intoxicating. I will be back, if only for the chicken.

This park is a great park for Yellowstone access. Our site was easily accessible, and the site escort is a great service. The sites have fantastic mountain views. The campground is located high on a bluff and overlooks the town of Gardiner and Yellowstone park. Staff was very helpful planning trips and giving tips on where to see animals. We saw both Grizzlies and Wolves! A great service was the pet sitting, our dogs loved not sitting in the car all day in Yellowstone. Wifi worked great. The roads and pads are gravel, but roads are wide and sites level. Very Quiet with no planes, no trains and road noise. We stayed 5 days and wished we could stay 50 more. We will be back.

A good park considering it is in the city. No pull-thrus however. Pads are concrete and there is plenty of room. There is a train track fairly nearby, but it is not used as much as the one near the KOA, so it is a little quieter here. The park has some mobile homes, but they are not directly in the RV area where we stayed. There are also some long-term RVs, but they are better kept than some we have seen. Wifi worked fine. Lots of trees, but satellite worked fine. Very convenient to shopping and dining.
